The foundation was lied in 1954 by Joachim Thrun who started a business in selling and repairing dairy machinery. Soon the first aluminum vessels were made for the local dairy farms. In 1966, the company converted to the exclusive use of stainless steel.

in 1976 it was Rüdiger Thrun who moved the company and its facilities to their present premises at Gschwend near Nesselwang.
